Financial Transparency
The club is now entering a new era of financial transparency where every single cent will be accounted for. We pledged to be transparent and as a beginning, we have treasurers report every week and we shall have audits every month beginning from January 2009. Both the tresurers report and the monthly audits will be made public and will be published on this website.
Organizational Transparency
Gone are the days when officials kept the club affairs secret. Club affairs will now be made known to the public at large. News will be regularly published on this website and in the local media so that all stakeholders are made to feel part of the club. With that in mind, the club has embarked on a national and international membership recruitment drive. Interested parties are encouraged to contact the club officials. The marketing arm of the club is reaching out to fans in local radio stations such as Ramogi FM.
| We call upon fans to register as members and otherwise donate to the club to enable it to return to its glory days |
Gor Mahia Academy System
With a view towards building a team for the future, the club has embarked on a youth development system. Coach Raphael Auka has been charged with the task of scouting and training the Gor Mahia Academy team where we have over 25 players training for purposes of feeding the senior team. It will please you to know that we have gone around the country and recruited very promising players especially from the Secondary School National Tournaments.
A few players have been identified for trial to fit in the main team. Besides, we are in the process of registering the academy for nationwide league to not only keep our players but keep being competitive enough to even sell some of the talents we have.
